Game 16: St. Chux Derby Chix (1) v Big Easy Rollergirls (3)

In a brawl for bronze, the St. Chux Derby Chix (1) of O’Fallon, Missouri rolled to the line against the Big Easy Rollergirls (3) of New Orleans, Louisiana and dominated the ladies from NOLA in Game 16 of the international 2014 WFTDA Division 2 Duluth Playoffs.

Game 15: Treasure Valley Rollergirls (8) v Suburbia Roller Derby (9)

The top of the consolation bracket is the battle for fifth place and this year’s 8 seed, Treasure Valley Rollergirls (Boise, ID) and 9 seed Suburbia Roller Derby (Yonkers, NY) battled for the top position. The teams had met in their first game on Friday morning in this tournament when Treasure Valley took the win in a close game (129-109). But it seemed that Treasure Valley found the secret of Suburbia’s success and figured out how to shut it down.

Game 13: Tucson Roller Derby (6) v Omaha Roller Girls (7)

Using timely surges of momentum, the battle for ninth place at the Division 2 Duluth Playoffs, was anything but dull. Tucson Roller Derby (6) from Tucson, Arizona took on and fell to Omaha Rollergirls (7) of Omaha, Nebraska in the early morning bout of the day, 184-138.
