WFTDA Championships | Saint Paul, MN |
Nov 6-8 |
Founded by the Donnelly sisters in August 2004, the Minnesota RollerGirls are one of the first modern roller derby leagues to host a public bout. After our first season in a roller rink in the northern suburbs, we moved on up to the Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium in the capital city of the great state of Minnesota. We are proud to be a founding member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
We have four home teams: the Atomic Bombshells, Dagger Dolls, Garda Belts, and Rockits, that do battle every season to win the coveted Golden Skate trophy (and bragging rights, natch). Beyond our four fantastic home teams, the Minnesota RollerGirls All-Stars are one of the top teams in the world, competing in the WFTDA Championship tournaments in 2006, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014. In addition to the skaters, a tip-top officiating crew and dedicated volunteers make up our 150-member league.
The Minnesota RollerGirls are dedicated to our local community. We invest our time, effort, and a portion of our event proceeds in local charities.
Real. Strong. Athletic. Revolutionary.
