Q&A

What was the turning point for your league to make it to Playoffs this season?
The turning point for SACRED was the off-season. Our SACRIFICERS made a decision to ramp up our practices, scrimmages, and make a commitment to a challenging season. We started off strong with a tournament in Utah and continued the momentum through our own tournament, June Boom, with motivational wins against Sin City and Tucson.

Have you ever played any of the teams in your Playoff bracket?
We are not strangers to many of our bracket-mates. We have played and scrimmaged our Sacramento neighbors the Sac City Rollers several times. We have also played Wasatch on 3 occasions, trading wins each time. We have met Emerald City on the track 2 times, both were wins for us but they never make it easy.

What are some game highlights from your travel team season this year?
Highlights this year have included our large wins over DC and Sin City. These games came at the perfect time this season to keep our positive momentum going into Playoffs.
