Terminal City Rollergirls triumph over Tampa

Terminal City Rollergirls (#38, #10 seed), in their first trip to a WFTDA tournament, racked up an early lead against Tampa Roller Derby, of Tampa, Florida, (#29, #7 seed). The Tampa Tantrums gained momentum against the Canadian team from Vancouver, British Columbia, but the late-game run wasn’t enough to defeat Terminal City, who bested Tampa, 180-154.

In a game that kept penalty box staffers on their toes, New Hampshire Roller Derby (#37, seed #9), of Nashua, New Hampshire, edged by #8 seed Jacksonville RollerGirls of Jacksonville, Florida, to win 231-212.
