About the Hosts

Founded in the summer of 2006, the River City Rollergirls is a 501(c)(3) charitable sports organization located in the Greater Richmond Region of Virginia. Our purpose is to promote a positive, competitive sporting experience for women as well as to provide role models for new generations of women in the community. Strong. Positive. Teamwork. Community.

The River City Rollergirls have two competitive teams, the Poe’s Punishers (WFTDA sanctioned) and the Uncivil Warriors (unsanctioned). We also have 3 home teams The Jackson Wardens, Carytown Cadets and Hollywood Undertakers.

We pride ourselves on giving back to our community, so we are a proud supporter of FeedMore, which is Central Virginia’s hunger-relief leader. You will often see us helping out at local charity events, and supporting our neighboring derby leagues.
