Watch fiercely talented skaters compete for women’s flat track roller derby’s greatest glory in the third of the 2013 WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs. This guide will make sure you get best tournament experience, whether you're planning a trip to Asheville or watching from home.

Skip the fees and buy at the door! There will be plenty of tickets available at the venue box office for the same base price as are available online! (+ minimal facility fees)

Meet your Playoffs Hosts

The Blue Ridge Rollergirls have “rolled local” in Asheville, North Carolina, since 2006. In 2010, Blue Ridge was accepted as a WFTDA apprentice league, and the league became full WFTDA members in March 2012. Blue Ridge consists of two teams: the All Stars and the French Broads, who are named after the French Broad River that flows through the city.

The U.S. Cellular Center is Western North Carolina’s preeminent multi-purpose event facility and is managed by the City of Asheville. The facility first opened to the public in 1974 and has since hosted thousands of concerts, sporting events, trade and consumer shows, graduations, speeches and other types of events over the years.

Visitors who wish to fly may wish to use the Asheville Regional Airport in Fletcher, NC. The Asheville Regional Airport is approximately 15 miles from the U.S. Cellular Center, where all bouts will take place. If visitors wish to utilize an international airport, the Raleigh-Durham International Airport is located approximately 250 miles from the venue, and the Charlotte Douglas International Airport is located approximately 125 miles from the venue.
