Die Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) und Roller Derby Deutschland haben die deutsche Übersetzung der Flat Track Roller Derby Regeln in der Ausgabe vom 1. Dezember 2017 veröffentlicht. Diese Veröffentlichung ist die erste, die in Zusammenarbeit mit Roller Derby Deutschland (RDD) entstanden ist, sowie die erste in einer geschlechtersensiblen Sprachvariante der Regeln auf Deutsch.

The WFTDA has released an updated WFTDA StatsBook (Excel letter and A4 formats) and WFTDA StatsBook Manual, along with supporting, optional Penalties Lineups Tracker (PLT) and Tournament Head (THNSO) modules.

Dear roller derby community,

When our beloved sport was founded in Austin, Texas more than a decade ago, it was clear that this was the start of something truly special. The incredible DIY spirit of our community, the revolutionary actions of groundbreaking women, and the powerful voices of athletes from a diverse spectrum of identities helped roller derby grow into something more celebrated and inclusive.

The WFTDA has released updates to The Rules, officiating documents and policies for use in all sanctioned games starting March 1, 2018.

My name is Gloom, and I’m a transgender woman who plays roller derby for the Fort Wayne Derby Girls. I’m also the chair of the WFTDA Diversity and Inclusion Committee, a committee that is dedicated to challenging regressive attitudes and systems of oppression that provide barriers to the participation of marginalized and underrepresented groups in roller derby. I’m writing to reaffirm the WFTDA’s commitment to the transgender community and to disavow transmisogyny in our own community. To do that, I’d like to talk a little bit about my own experiences.
