The WFTDA has released the following policies and guidelines with updated requirements for officiating, risk management, and gameplay associated with The Rules of Flat Track Roller Derby. All policies, guidelines and procedural documents live on the member resource site found at WFTDA.org.

The Women's Flat Track Derby Association is excited to extend full membership status to nine additional leagues today, following their successful completion of the WFTDA Apprentice Program.

The Women’s Flat Track Derby Association has released an updated version of the WFTDA Skater Rules Test to match the February 15, 2017 release of The Rules of Flat Track Roller Derby. The test is available in an online and a printable PDF format.

The WFTDA Skater Training Committee and WFTDA Broadcast are proud to announce the launch of new demonstration videos for the WFTDA Minimum Skills Requirements (MSR) to help skaters and coaches learn the minimum skills required for roller derby. WFTDA has also released a new WFTDA Minimum Skills Assessment Companion (MSAC) instructional guide to assist with the training and assessment of the MSR. The MSR document has been branded to match the look of the new series, but there are no changes to the required skills.

As per the February 6, 2017 Latest News, the WFTDA has released updated Games policies and an updated WFTDA-Regulation Track Layout Guide to support the February 15, 2017 version of The Rules of Flat Track Roller Derby. An updated WFTDA StatsBook and WFTDA StatsBook Manual will follow this week and we will update this post when it’s released.
