The early morning game of Day 2 at the 2015 International WFTDA Playoffs in Omaha, Nebraska, featured the Boston Derby Dames (#6) against the Toronto Roller Derby from Toronto, Ontario, Canada (#8). Depth of bench and jammer awareness played into Boston's favor as the team rolled away with a win.

Game 6: Montreal Roller Derby (#4) vs Windy City Rollers (#5)

On paper, the final game of Friday between 4 Seed Montreal Roller Derby (#16) and 5 Seed Windy City Rollers (#20) looked like it was going to be a close game but Montreal took a solid win to advance to the semifinals.

Game 5: Gotham Girls Roller Derby (#1) vs Queen City Roller Girls (#9)

Game 5 of the 2015 International WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs in Omaha pitted the undefeated Gotham Girls Roller Derby (#1) against the Queen City Roller Girls (#9), and Gotham handily defeated their upstate neighbors to advance to the first of the two semifinal games on Saturday.

Game 4: Angel City Derby Girls (#2) vs Helsinki Roller Derby (#7)

The quarterfinal game between 7 Seed Helsinki Roller Derby (#25) and 2 Seed Angel City Derby Girls (#8) was a game in which the experience, stamina and defense of Angel City trumped the determination and grit of the Helsinki players.

Game 3: Minnesota RollerGirls (#3) vs. Boston Derby Dames (#6)

A distinct chill filled the Ralston Arena as winter descended and the Minnesota RollerGirls (#3) defeated the Boston Derby Dames (#6) in Game 3 of the 2015 International WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs. Minnesota’s notorious fans, the Aquaman Army, warned that "Winter is coming," and the Boston Derby Dames were left, shut out in the cold, blanking in 12 of the first period's 19 jams.
