From the action on the track during Saturday night’s final game, it was clear that both 2 Seed Angel City Derby Girls (#8) and 3 Seed Minnesota Rollergirls (#12) intend to merely pass through Omaha on their way to Championships. In one of the most physically intense games of the tournament so far, Angel City took an early lead, and held onto it throughout the entire game to guarantee their spot in Saint Paul.

Game 11: Queen City Roller Girls (#9) vs No Coast Derby Girls (#10)

Establishing an early lead in Game 11 of the 2015 International WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs, No Coast Derby Girls (#10) dominated the Queen City Roller Girls (#9), delivering a tournament upset and securing Lincoln's chance to finish five places higher than their seeding.

Game 10: Helsinki Roller Derby (#7) vs Boston Derby Dames (#6)

The 6 Seed Boston Derby Dames (#23) held tight to their lead throughout 60 minutes of derby to earn the right to play for fifth place in the consolation bracket, winning over 7 Seed Helsinki Roller Derby (#25).

Game 9: Gotham Girls Roller Derby (#1) vs Montreal Roller Derby (#4)

Gotham Girls Roller Derby (#1) worked through their eighth game of the 2015 season and paved their way to Championships by defeating Montreal Roller Derby (#4) in Game 9 of the 2015 International WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs in Omaha, Nebraska.

Game 8: Windy City Rollers (#5) vs. No Coast Derby Girls (#10)

The 10 Seed No Coast Derby Girls (#39) know a thing or two about momentum. They lost it during their first game against 7 Seed Helsinki Roller Derby (#25) and lost the game in the last jam. But they hauled it back over to their side of the track during their game against 5 Seed Windy City Rollers (#20) and, except for about five jams during the first period, kept a tight hold on it, riding it to a 211-point victory.
