The revolution continued as gracious hosts No Coast Derby Girls and the top South Central Region teams battled for glory Oct 5–7. The "Landlocked Lace Up" certainly busted more than one bracket! Out of the top three seeds, only the Texas Rollergirls finished in the same place that they started!
Advancing to the 2012 WFTDA Championships are Texas Rollergirls, of Austin, TX; Atlanta Rollergirls, of Atlanta, GA; and the Kansas City Roller Warriors, of Kansas City, MO.
Hailing from Nebraska's Capitol of Lincoln, the No Coast Derby Girls are a small-town league that has had a consistent presence in the national derby circuit. In a league of only 40 skaters, No Coast is comprised of dedicated veterans and promising rookies striving to continue to put No Coast on the map.
The recently renovated Holiday Inn Lincoln Downtown is located in the Historic Haymarket District and offers plenty of nearby options for sightseeing, dining and shopping. It is also about 6 blocks (less than one mile) from the tournament venue.
The Pershing Center is the home venue for tournament hosts the No Coast Derby Girls, as well as other local sporting events and concerts. It can seat up to 7,000 people, depending on the event configuration, and is located in the heart of downtown Lincoln, just a stone’s throw from the Nebraska state capitol building.
