Q&A

Does your league have a motto, or words that it lives by? What is it / what are they? What does it mean to your league?
"Do the Damn Thing!" and "No Big Deal!" Do the damn thing is something we always say before we play. It just means let’s do our thing! No big deal is something we made up at regionals 2011 to say when we did something awesome. We also say it if we had a bad jam and need to reset "it was no big deal, go out there and do a better job next time!"

Has your league experienced any retirements, transfers or injuries in the past year that have made a substantial difference in your league’s play and performance?
Tons!! We have had over 15 A-team skaters retire in the last 2 years due to injuries, work, or other life changes. It has definitely made the team struggle a bit as far as rankings go, but our newer skaters are doing an amazing job stepping up and really helping keep our team strong!

What was the turning point for your league to make it to a playoff this season? Was there a BIG WIN that pushed your team over the edge?
We have had a lot of turnover in the last two seasons, and really we just decided we wanted to make it into the D1 tournament this year. We decided together that we would work extremely hard to train our newer syndicate skaters and become an amazing new solid team together!

Real. Strong. Athletic. Revolutionary.
