D2 Playoffs | Kalamazoo, MI |
Founded in 2006, the Killamazoo Derby Darlins (originally known as the Kalamazoo Kamikazes Danger Dames) were accepted to the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association in 2010. KDD is proud to have 50 members and a fan base that supported the move to Wings Stadium, the host venue for Playoffs. The league is composed of a traveling charter team and a second team named the Killa Crew.
In a state with over 25 sister leagues, Killamazoo is proud to be the first Michigan league to host an international roller derby team, the Hammer City Roller Girls of Hamilton, ON, Canada, as well as serve as host for the first fresh meat/B team tournament in 2010.
KDD is very proud of its accomplishments as a 50-member league. We've traveled as far as Broward County, Florida, Ontario, Canada, Anchorage, and Fairbanks, Alaska. Now we are honored to host one of the two first ever Division 2 tournaments!
Real. Strong. Athletic. Revolutionary.
