Although they claim to not be any good playing as themselves in Jam City Rollergirls, the Mad Rollin' Dolls of Madison, Wisconsin certainly tear things up on the track. The Angel City Derby Girls have been very busy this past year. They have revitalized their league with a focus on recruitment and training; as well as securing their own warehouse practice space. In a city filled with entertainment choices, ACDG has managed to carve out their own niche, and will host their 2011 bouts at the Culver City Veterans Memorial Auditorium. The 5280 Fight Club of the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls are your 2010 WFTDA Champions. With six teams, this growing and competitive league keeps getting better with 24/7 access to their practice facility and huge fan support. Find out more about how this team came together at 2010 West Region Playoffs, took that momentum with them to the Championship tournament, Uproar on the Lakeshore, and played an extremely memorable one-point game that had the entire WFTDA community on the edge of their seats.

It's not enough for the Windy City Rollers to have earned a place at the WFTDA Championships four times; this year they decided it was time they hosted. Uproar on the Lakeshore will introduce WFTDA fans from around the world to the UIC Pavillion and die-hard WCR fans wearing blue. Chicago's always been known for its sport scene and as roller derby got its earliest start in this city; it seems more than appropriate that we'll be celebrating the best our sport has to offer in Chi-town. The Minnesota RollerGirls went to Thunda on the Tundra to face off against higher ranked rival teams and left that tournament with a ticket to the WFTDA Championships. They are the Cinderella story of the North Central Regional tournament and had fans wearing chest paint in the crowd to prove it.
