Meet Your Championships Hosts
The story of the Nashville Rollergirls began in 2006 when three forward-thinking women, inspired by the derby revolution taking place all over the country, decided that Nashville needed roller derby. After only a short time in existence, the team’s first bout was was on the books in early 2007 against the Naptown Rollergirls. Nashville has been bouting regularly ever since, and became a proud WFTDA member league in 2008.
NRG has grown to include more than 40 skaters across two travel teams - The Music City Brawl Stars, a highly competitive team of up-and-coming skaters, and the Music City All Stars, the premier travel team that plays WFTDA-sanctioned games and competes at tournaments. The All Stars secured a place at the WFTDA Championships in 2010 and 2011.
The Nashville Rollergirls are thrilled to be hosting the 2014 WFTDA Championships. We welcome you to Nashville, and we hope y'all love our wonderful city as much as we do!
