Q&A

What's one little-known fact about your league?
Between our A and B travel teams, Rose City has four rostered skaters that were former junior derby players.

Have there been any notable roster changes since your last Playoffs appearance?
From our starting fourteen from last year’s Western Playoffs, the following 9 skaters have retired or transferred to other leagues:

8 Sully Skullkicker, V8 Cadillac, 53 Mick Swagger, 55 Layla Smackdow, 74 Napalm Beth, 82 Hurricane Skatrina, 243 Scratcher in the Eye, 357 Rhea DeRange, and 444 Mobi-Wan Kenobi.

Who should we watch out for on the track during your appearance at the 2012 Playoffs and why?
Rose City prides itself on team play and dynamic strategy. Watch for everyone - they are all important to our success on the track this year.

Who's the Wheels of Justice’s biggest rival?
Historically, Bay Area has been our biggest rival. We have met 3 out of 4 years in the Playoffs in elimination games, with Bay area winning twice and Rose winning once.

What's your travel team's most memorable derby moment?
Our final-jam come-from-behind victory over Windy City in Memorial Coliseum – Wheels of Justice’s first regular season bout in that building.

Real. Strong. Athletic. Revolutionary.
