Q&A

What was the turning point for your league to make it to Playoffs this season? Was there a BIG WIN that pushed your team over the edge?
There was really no big turning point for the team, just a consistent level of play throughout the season. We have a lot of new faces on the team this year, so just working on incorporating those girls into the team and creating some fluidity is what has kept us competitive.

Has your league experienced any retirements, transfers or injuries in the past year that have made a substantial difference in your league’s play and performance?
Flash Gloria (Megan Harrington) transferred to Omaha so we took a substantial hit on the jammer rotation. We've been able to bounce back fairly well with our veterans consisting of Christy Johnson and Anna Cassube as well as newcomer Ricci Porter.

Does your league have a motto, or words that it lives by?
We have "No Coast No Mercy" started by our fan base. It helps us not let off when things aren't going our way when we hear that chanting through the crowd.

We also call ourselves the wolf pack - never leave a teammate behind. Always stick together.
