Q&A:

What was the turning point for your league to make it to a playoff this season? Was there a BIG WIN that pushed your team over the edge?
We played a number of highly ranked teams this season -- including Angel City, London, Rocky, and Charm City -- challenging ourselves to compete with the best and make the playoffs. We have a combination of veteran skaters with playoff experience and rookies who have been working on being smarter, faster, and stronger together.

How have your practices changed since being named one of the teams to make it to the 2013 Playoffs?
We've increased our scrimmage opportunities with nearby leagues, including Rat City and Puget Sound Outcasts. We're lucky to be in an area with highly competitive but cooperative women's, men's, and junior derby leagues.
