Q&A

What was the turning point for your league to make it to a playoff this season? Was there a BIG WIN that pushed your team over the edge?
We as a league and team made it our goal to make playoffs this season. We came into the start of the year unranked and knew we had to climb hard and fast to get into Playoffs. Our first half schedule was booked with tournaments of Wild West Showdown, Dust Devil, not to mention 4 home games (3 sanctioned) before. We upped practices and the intensity and focus, not just with the travel team, but from the league as a whole. There was no real big win, just a combined team effort from our first day at practice to make this happen.

Has your league experienced any retirements, transfers or injuries in the past year that have made a substantial difference in your league’s play and performance?
We've had all three! Fitch Bace's transfer to our league last year and her quick move up in the ranks was definitely a great addition to our league and team. Quickfire retired at the end of last year, but due to life changes was able to come back, adding another jammer into our rotation. HN ICY suffered a critical injury two days before Dust Devil so we are excited to have her hard hits and fire back. This is Annie Recksic's first full season back from a serious knee injury that kept her sidelined for nearly 2 full years. Devaskater transferred back to us after over a year with Nashville Rollergirls.

Real. Strong. Athletic. Revolutionary.
