Mourning the Loss of Moxie Mayhem

The Women's Flat Track Derby Association wishes to express its condolences to the family, friends and teammates of Stacey Morgan, also known as "Moxie Mayhem" of the Northstar Roller Girls. Stacey was hit by a car while walking with her three-month-old daughter in Oakdale, MN. Her daughter, Zoe Jane, was thankfully left unharmed.

This weekend's North Central Regional Tournament will be dedicated to Stacey and Zoe Jane. Athletes and fans observed a moment of silence during the opening ceremonies of the tournament Friday, Sept. 18.

"Stacey's death is a tragedy and our hearts go out to her family and the Northstar Roller Girls," - WFTDA Executive Director Juliana Gonzales.
