The #3 seed Philly Roller Girls defeated #1 Gotham Girls Roller Derby in a nail-biting finisher to the Wicked Wheels of the East tournament; ending Gotham's two-year, 18-game winning streak.

Other highlights of the tournament include Charm City's Joy Collision scoring a 30-point jam, breaking the WFTDA tournament record (25 points) set by Duke City's Kamikaze Kim and matched by Kansas City's Snot Rocket at last year's Western Regionals.
