WFTDA Announces Seeding for 2012 Playoffs

Top 40 Flat Track Roller Derby Teams Compete for Championship

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Fiercely talented skaters from the top 40 women’s flat track roller derby leagues in the world will compete for the sport’s greatest glory in the 2012 Women’s Flat Track Derby Association Playoffs and Championships this fall. The WFTDA is excited to announce this year’s Playoffs competitors, the top teams in their game play regions.

The second quarter regional rankings of all 156 WFTDA member leagues, released today, reflect the results of sanctioned bouts played through June 30. The top 10 teams from each region will compete in four Region Playoffs in hopes of being one of the three teams that will advance to the WFTDA Championships.
