Second Round of Division 1 Playoffs Begins Friday

The second round of the international 2014 WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs begins Friday, Sept. 19, in Evansville, Indiana. Teams from three countries, 10 of the top teams in women's roller derby, will compete in the Ford Center over the next three days to determine which three teams will advance to the international 2014 WFTDA Championships.

In the first round of Division 1 Playoffs, held Sept. 5-7 in Sacramento, California, Gotham Girls Roller Derby, Denver Roller Dolls and Minnesota RollerGirls earned their spots in the Championships bracket.
