Christy Demons began her derby career nearly eight years ago and has been a big part of the wave of roller derby in Australia. Starting with the Sun State Roller Girls, Christy later made the move to her current league, Victorian Roller Derby League. The past few years of Christy's career of been especially of note, earning a spot on Team Australia for the 2014 Derby World Cup, MVP just this past September at D1 Playoffs in Tuscon, AZ and now heading to Saint Paul, MN for Championships! Mishel Castro isn't a person to do anything halfway, throwing her passion for derby into all things, having been WFTDA rep, GM, captain and more. Derby has taught Mishel about building confidence and strength, both things that have translated to her being a strong leader for her team both on and off the track. Roller derby was something that gave Amy Spears' life focus, a focus that has been nothing short of a laser beam as she skates into her 10th year with the Ohio Roller Girls. Choosing to skate under her own name, Amy's derby career has been one marked by her passion for the sport and consistent leadership. Amy was voted as the new WFTDA Vice President this spring and is prepared to bring her focused vision and love for roller derby with her!
