Here's how to get to and around Montréal, Québec for the 2016 International WFTDA D1 Playoffs.

By Air

All international and domestic flights fly into Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. It’s approximately 30 km (17 miles) from the venue and accessible by car, taxi and public transport.

By Bus

Buses into the city arrive at the Montreal Central Station - Gare d’autocars de Montréal (1717 Rue Berri). It’s a 25 minute cab ride to the venue. There’s also a nearby metro station.

By Train

Trains arrive in the city at the Gare Centrale at 895 Rue de la Gauchetière O. It’s about 9 km (5 miles) to the venue, and is accessible by car and public transport.

By Car

From the Airport

  • Follow signs for Autoroute 20 E.
  • Merge onto 720 E.
  • Continue onto Viger Avenue E, which turns into Notre-Dame E.
  • Turn left onto Boulevard Pie-IX. Turn right onto Sherbrooke E.
  • Turn right on Rue Viau.

From the North

  • Take Autoroute 15 S onto the island.
  • Take left lane to Autoroute 40 E.
  • Take exit 76 toward Boulevard Pie-IX.
  • Merge onto Cremazie which turns into Metropolitain E.
  • Use right lane to take Boulevard Viau N ramp, turn right onto Viau.
  • Continue straight until venue.

From the East

  • Take Autoroute 40 O towards Montreal.
  • Take exit 80S for Autoroute 25S.
  • Take exit 5 towards Rue Sherbrooke, use right two lanes to take ramp to Rue Sherbrooke.
  • Turn left on Rue Viau.

From the South

  • From Autoroute 10 O, take exit 6 and follow signs for Autoroute 20 E.
  • Take exit 82 and follow signs for Pont Jacques Cartier (Bridge) - Montreal.
  • Turn right on Rue Sherbrooke E. Turn right on Rue Viau.

From the West

  • From the Transcanada, take Pont de l’ile aux Tourtes (Bridge) onto Autoroute 40 E.
  • Take exit 76 towards Boulevard Pie-IX - Boulevard Viau.
  • Merge onto Cremazie which turns into Metropolitain E.
  • Use right lane to take Boulevard Viau N ramp, turn right onto Viau.
  • Continue straight until venue.

Centre Pierre-Charbonneau is a 5-minute walk from the Viau metro station. For more information about our public transit system: http://www.stm.info

You will need a valid passport (or NEXUS card) to cross the USA-Canada border whether it’s by air, train, bus or car. You will not be allowed over the border if you do not have one.
