Announcer Crew Selected for Championships

The WFTDA is pleased to reveal the announcers for the International 2014 WFTDA Championships, which will take place Oct. 31-Nov. 2 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Announcers completed applications and reference checks before being added to the pool for consideration for WFTDA Playoffs and Championships. This year’s announcers were selected by each Tournament Head Announcer, and reviewed by a WFTDA panel that included the Announcer Pool Coordinator Sasha Morrigan, and WFTDA staff members including Tournament Director Alisha Campbell, Director of Broadcast Erica Vanstone, and Marketing and Communications Manager Jenna Cloughley. The panel also included a representative of the Association of Flat Track Derby Announcers (AFTDA).

The panel made the final announcer selection for the WFTDA Championships following the conclusion of the International 2014 Division 1 and Division 2 Playoffs series earlier this month.
