Game 11 of Day 2 at 2016 International WFTDA D2 Playoffs in Wichita, KS, USA featured the Kansas City Roller Warriors of Kansas City, MO, USA (seed #5, WFTDA #50) against Boulder County Bombers of Longmont, CO, USA (seed #8, WFTDA #58). Two teams, one state and three seeding spots apart. And in the end, it was just one point that made the difference as Boulder County upset Kansas City, 201-200.

The Houston Roller Derby All-Stars of Houston, TX, USA (seed #2, WFTDA #43) will now play for fifth place in the 2016 International WFTDA Division 2 Playoffs Wichita after defeating the Tucson Roller Derby Saddletramps of Tucson, AZ, USA (seed #6, WFTDA #51), 197-173 on Saturday.

Jet City Rollergirls of Everett, WA, USA (seed #1, WFTDA #42) narrowly escaped with a 15-point win against Boulder County Bombers on Friday while Brandywine Roller Derby of Downingtown, PA, USA (seed #4, WFTDA #47) doubled up against Kansas City in their initial game. The double-up theme for Brandywine stayed true during Game 9 on Saturday afternoon, as Brandywine skated away with the win, upsetting the top seed in a 198-170 win at the 2016 International WFTDA Division 2 Playoffs Wichita and earning a trip to November’s 2016 International WFTDA Championships in Portland.
