The Games Review Panel has revoked the sanctioning for the November 5, 2011 bout between Babe City Rollers and Des Moines Derby Dames due to an infraction by Des Moines. The Des Moines Derby Dames rostered two skaters who were not on their charter at the time of the bout.
The game will count towards membership, tournament and ranking minimum requirements for Babe City but the score will not be recorded in the official record and cannot be used in determining rank.
Bouts can have their sanctioning revoked for numerous specific reasons, all of which can be boiled down to violations that destroy the integrity of the game in question. This is the first bout in WFTDA history that has had its sanctioning revoked. Revocation of sanctioning is something the Games Review Panel takes with the utmost seriousness. We are heartened that leagues value WFTDA rules and regulations, making revocation of bout sanctioning a very rare event.
