WFTDA Roller Derby Officiating Game History Document Updated

April 2, 2015

The WFTDA Officials Committee has updated the Roller Derby Officiating Game History document, which is a standard template for documenting officiating experience. While developed primarily to track WFTDA game experience for WFTDA tournament applications, the document also can be used by officials wishing to consolidate experience in other derby disciplines.

This update includes:

  • WFTDA and MRDA games integrated together in a single game history sheet, with a separate sheet for other rule sets
  • Skating and Non-Skating Official position history integrated together into each sheet
  • Summary pages for each rule set that provide at-a-glance tables of the number of games officiated and positions worked
  • Allows Head Referees to indicate any secondary positions worked in a game.
  • Clinic participation may be recorded for WFTDA, MRDA and other clinics.

The template includes both an instruction sheet for new users as well as a conversion worksheet with step-by-step instructions to convert a 2013 version for easy copying and pasting into the 2015 version.

Either version of the document may be used for 2015 WFTDA Playoffs officiating applications, but the 2015 version will be required starting in 2016. For those officials applying for certification, the conversion to the 2015 version will be required for applications starting with the July 10, 2015 deadline.
