WFTDA Begins Collecting Feedback on Rules Beta Tests

October 25, 2013

The WFTDA has opened four online surveys to collect feedback from skaters and officials on the beta tests of potential new rules. This test cycle is designed to gather data on two rules proposals that were generated out of community feedback and WFTDA membership discussions.

While the WFTDA is also working with a small number of leagues on more in-depth and formalized beta testing, any league that tests one or more of the proposals released earlier this month is invited to submit feedback via the surveys. There are separate surveys for skaters and officials. Leagues are asked to complete the survey once for each segment of the test that they complete. The surveys will remain open until Nov. 15.

The WFTDA Rules Committee is overseeing the testing process. A report and recommendations, including any rules change proposals, will presented by this team to WFTDA membership for review and balloting in late November. Changes to the rules, if voted in by the membership after beta testing and feedback, would be incorporated in the next rules release, February 1, 2014.
