August 23, 2015
After a weekend packed with intense, hard-fought games that were decided in the final minutes and seconds, the Kansas City Roller Warriors emerged in 1st Place at the 2015 International WFTDA Division 2 Playoffs in Cleveland, Ohio. Kansas City has qualified for a WFTDA tournament every year since the first tournament in 2006. They will move on to the 2015 International WFTDA Championships to compete for the title of Division 2 Champion.
Demolition City Roller Derby of Evansville, Indiana, will also get a shot at the D2 title after pulling multiple upsets as the #5 seed to take 2nd Place in the tournament.
Kansas City blocker Bruz-Her was named the tournament MVP.
