Gotham Girls Roller Derby Wins Sacramento Playoffs

WFTDA tournament season resumed in Sacramento, California, USA, this weekend with the first round of the international 2014 WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs. Despite strong challenges from their opponents, Gotham Girls Roller Derby, of New York, New York, USA, maintained their multi-year undefeated streak and advanced to the international 2014 WFTDA Championships as a 1 seed. Gotham are the reigning WFTDA Champions, having won the title three years in a row.

Joining Gotham in Nashville Oct. 31-Nov. 2 will be Denver Roller Dolls, of Denver, Colorado, USA, and Minnesota RollerGirls, of St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, as the 2 and 3 seeds, respectively.

Blocker OMG WTF of Gotham Girls Roller Derby was named tournament MVP.
