The latest WFTDA team rankings were released today, including games played through April 30, 2014. Team rankings are generated by the WFTDA Rankings Calculator, which uses an algorithm to rank teams based on game scores.
The rankings list now includes a column indicating each team's movement since the prior month's release. In a boon for data-minded roller derby fans, the public rankings releases now also include each team's weight, an important element of the rankings formula.
The next rankings will be released in early June, reflecting this month's game play.
