WFTDA Now Accepting Certification Applications for Non-Skating Officials

As announced in March, the WFTDA has created a separate branch of its certification program for roller derby officials that focuses on non-skating officials. The NSO Certification Committee is now releasing the evaluation forms and other tools that non-skating officials need to apply for certification, as well as detailed criteria for evaluation.

The process is modeled on the well-established one used for Referee Certification, but with appropriate adjustments to reflect the different nature of non-skating positions. The NSO Certification Committee has transferred the certifications of non-skating officials who were already certified under the prior system and is now accepting applications and other evaluation materials.
