Twin City Roller Derby

The Twin City Knockers are a women's flat track roller derby team located in Shreveport / Bossier City, Louisiana and having league members from Northwest Louisiana and East Texas.     Our league has dual focuses:  Women's athleticism and community support.  We are recognized as a 501(c) 3 Nonprofit Charity Organization, and our mission statement is "to foster and promote leadership, athleticism, and sportsmanship in community women and to develop these women for competition through the sport of Roller Derby. In addition to giving back to their community through donations of partial bout proceeds to qualified charitable organizations with local impact, team members are available for public appearances where their publicity and presence may improve community awareness of worthy causes and promote the awareness of our organization's purpose."We strive to improve our members through competitive participation in roller derby while working to improve our community by aggressively supporting local charities with proceeds from our ticket sales as well as involvement in community events.  We are always recruiting new skaters, volunteers, and referees.
