Newcastle Roller Derby

Founded in 2009, Newcastle Roller Girls is an athletic and social non-profit organisation committed to improving ourselves and others through the sport of roller derby. We strive for athletic excellence and competitive success in the growing movement governed by WFTDA, embracing people of all shapes, sizes, age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion, backgrounds and skill levels. In line with WFTDA, we are committed to inclusive and anti-discrimination practices in relation to all transgender women, intersex women, and gender-expansive participants. The members of NRG are strong and motivated people who train to maximise their individual abilities, increasing their skills through discipline, hard work and focus in a fun, safe environment. We host quality sports events for our fans and make a positive impact in our community.

Our Charter team is the Canny Belters, our B team is the Whippin' Hinnies and our C team is the North Cs.
