Kingston ON, Canada
Kingston Derby Girls is now entering its 10th season in Kingston Ontario. With one home team and a charter team, our events are jam-packed with talent and style, and we look forward to bringing the best Roller Derby scene to our community. Events at the Memorial Center in the heart of Kingston include music, food, beverages, fans, signs, and halftime fun! The after parties are where to blow off steam afterward, break bread, and toast to our much loved rivals.
Our core values embrace respect for diversity and inclusivity and we welcome everyone in the spirit of anti-oppression that includes, but is not limited to, people of different genders, races, religions, sexual orientations, body shapes, abilities or sizes, and socio-economic background.
In September of 2010, the then-new league hosted an exhibition game to introduce Kingston to the wonders of Roller Derby. Tickets to Back 2 Cruel blazed out of the hands of the local business sponsors, and the first bout started half an hour late in order to allow the 2,300 fans time to find their seats at the Kingston Memorial Centre.
Real. Strong. Athletic. Revolutionary.
