Gem City Roller Derby

Gem City Roller Derby is a women's flat track roller derby team based in Dayton, Ohio and a registered 501c3 non-profit organization.

​GCRD was founded in 2006. The league is a full member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association. The number of league members fluctuates, but averages out around 60 skaters and 80 total members, including coaches, officials, and volunteers.

Gem City plays nearly year-round, fielding its competitive travel teams (Purple Reign, Violet Femmes, and Lavender Haze) from December-July, and its recreational home teams (Bully Frogs, Murder Squad, and Snark Attack) from September-November.
