The purpose of the Expectations of Conduct is to provide guidelines for how individuals are expected to function as members of WFTDA. All members of the WFTDA assume an obligation to conduct themselves in a manner compatible with the WFTDA’s mission and as a standing member of WFTDA. When an individual competes in any WFTDA event, they indicate an understanding and agreement to represent WFTDA in a manner that does not detract from the image of the league. Furthermore, individuals should display sports like behavior and abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures and laws of all corresponding agencies.
Any issues or concerns any individual may have should be brought up to a member on the Board of Directors. In the event of a dispute between members, the problem is to be resolved in such a manner as to not get all of WFTDA involved. If the dispute cannot be resolved in an appropriate manner, it is to be brought to the attention of a member on the HR committee. It is the HR committee’s responsibility to facilitate fair and equitable resolution of disputes and concerns.
All members must remember that WFTDA is run as a business and all business information needs to remain confidential. All members must conduct business with honesty, fairness and integrity. All members need to be conscious of WFTDA’s image as it pertains to WFTDA as a business and their membership to WFTDA. All members must be aware of how they are representing WFTDA and how they conduct themselves at WFTDA events.
It is the responsibility of all members of WFTDA to treat one another with respect dignity and fairness. All members must ensure that any WFTDA event is free of harassment or abuse, and all procedures and policies are followed correctly.
Real. Strong. Athletic. Revolutionary.
