WFTDA Releases Nov. 30 Rankings, Announces Change to Division Assignment Process

December 15, 2014

The WFTDA is releasing the latest league rankings today and is announcing a change to the way teams are assigned to Divisions. These rankings reflect the results of games played through November 30, 2014, including the WFTDA Championships.

With the WFTDA Rankings Calculator now entering its third year, WFTDA membership voted to remove Division-specific gameplay requirements starting with the 2015 Competitive Season. Teams may now meet their minimum game play requirements by playing at least four sanctioned games against teams at any ranking level. WFTDA Competitive Play will no longer assign teams to Divisions with the release of the November 30 rankings. The June 30 rankings for Playoffs placement will be the only Division assignment.

Teams will be placed in either Division 1 or Division 2 Playoffs according to their ranking and eligibility on June 30, 2015. As consistent with past years, D1 Playoffs will feature eligible teams ranked 1-40, and D2 Playoffs will feature eligible teams ranked 41-60.
